Clothes to Order — Wear Your Brand
How they were getting left behind
As both a DTC and B2B business, Clothes2order had become increasingly dependent on performance channels to drive growth. As competition intensified, costs per click and impression continued to rise, forcing the brand into an ever more transactional fight for attention. With messaging dominated by product and price, they had built recognition through their logo, but not meaning through their brand. In a crowded market of near-identical offers, Clothes2order was in danger of becoming interchangeable.
How we pioneered a new solution
Clothes2order believed in the value of brand, but needed proof to unlock investment from the board. With budgets under scrutiny, a full-scale commitment wasn’t an option. So we worked flexibly and creatively to lower the risk and raise confidence. By eliminating the pitch process, we moved straight to building a brand platform designed to strengthen performance, not distract from it. We launched it as a tightly scoped regional TV test giving the leadership team real-world evidence that brand investment could drive growth, and a scalable foundation they could back with confidence.
How it impacted the business
For reasons of client confidentiality, we can only present a limited amount of detail here. What we can say is that the campaign directly drove a significant increase in sales, resulting in a strong ROAS. This prompted a strategic business shift, establishing brand building as a fundamental driver of long-term expansion rather than a secondary consideration alongside performance marketing.
